Debra McGee is Senior Vice President and Director of Minority Business Development at BankPlus.  She has had a prosperous career in banking for over 35 years.  At BankPlus, Mrs. McGee is responsible for developing and implementing programs, products and initiatives geared toward minority businesses in all the communities BankPlus services.  She has served as Nissan project manager, working with Nissan North America to implement services and products for BankPlus. She currently serves as Continental project manager, working with onboarding staff at Continental Tire Company.

Mrs. McGee is a graduate of the William Carey University School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.  She also holds certificates of banking from the American Institute of Banking and the University of Mississippi School Of Banking.  She is a graduate of Leadership Hattiesburg and Leadership Jackson.

Past President and founder of the West Jackson Rotary Club, she has received the District Service Award and currently serves as an assistant district governor for Rotary.  Mrs. McGee was named one of the top 50 leading business women in the state. She was also voted Jackson Advocate Woman of the Year.  She was selected as the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Mississippi 2013 Financial Services Champion of the Year.  Mrs. McGee was chosen as a Woman of Distinction for the Girl Scouts of Greater Mississippi.  She was presented with the Robinson Watson Book Company award for outstanding community service.  Mrs. McGee was chosen as Who’s Who in Black Mississippi.  She received the Financial Women International Woman of the Year Award and was a Dress for Success Women of Strength Award recipient.  She also serves as a board member of numerous boards and service organizations, including Dress for Success Metro Jackson, Jackson State University Development Foundation Board, where she serves as chairman of the board of directors.  Mrs. McGee is an active member of the Nissan Community Advisory Group, Community Foundation for Mississippi and Woodard Hinds Foundation.    Mrs. McGee is a graduate of Leadership Jackson and Leadership Hattiesburg.  She has served on the boards of Mississippi Food Network, the Capital Club, Move Mississippi Forward, Mississippi Minority Business Alliance, Inc., and the Walter Payton Foundation.   Mrs. McGee is a member of the Links Incorporated LeFleur’s Bluff Chapter.

Mrs. McGee is a native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and resides in Raymond, Mississippi.  She is a member of College Hill Baptist Church where she serves on the Board of Trustees, Building Fund Committee, as Chair of the Sam Bailey Scholarship committee and as a Deaconess.  She is married to Vincent McGee who is the owner/operator of S&T Heating and Cooling.
