
Deidra Bell
Deidra Bell recently retired as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for St. Dominic Health Services, Inc. She joined St. Dominic in 2007. Deidra and her husband Fred relocated to Mississippi from Easton Maryland where she was the Senior VP and CFO for Shore Health System. Prior to Shore Health, Ms. Bell served as Chief Financial Officer for Siskin Hospital in Chattanooga Tennessee. She has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, including acute care, long term care, physician practice management, and home health.
Deidra has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Guam and an MBA from The University of Tennessee. She is a certified public accountant and a Fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
She is an active member of the MS Society of CPAs, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and the Jackson Rotary Club. She serves on the Board of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra where she has served in the roles of Treasurer, Vice Chairman, and Chairman of the Board; and the Board of Operation Shoestring where she has served as President and Treasurer. She previously served on the Board for the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership.
Ms. Bell was selected as one of the Mississippi Business Journal’s 50 Leading Business Women of 2013, and was one of ten finalists for Business Woman of the Year.
