Joseph W. Moss is the Deputy Regional President for the Southeast Region of BancorpSouth in Jackson, Mississippi. Joseph provides support for the banking services in Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. Joseph has worked for BancorpSouth for the last 15 years and has a total of 25 years in the banking industry. He is a certified public accountant and began his professional career with Arthur Andersen in 1992.
He served approximately 27 years in the 172d Airlift Wing of the Mississippi Air National Guard where he retired in 2013 with the rank of Command Chief Master Sergeant. Joseph is a graduate of the Mississippi State University Adkerson School of Accounting and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Jackson Partnership, the Salvation Army, the United Way, the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and is a member of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has also served as a past president of the Rankin County Chamber of Commerce, advisory board member of the Madison County Business League & Foundation and served in several leadership positions at Brandon First United Methodist Church. He is a graduate of Leadership Mississippi and Leadership Rankin and also served on the board of the Jackson Capital Club.
Joseph and his wife, Ashley, have two daughters and live in Brandon, Mississippi.
