A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Mark Hosemann is a partner at the law firm of Butler Snow LLP, where he practices in the Business Services Group. Mark has extensive experience representing buyers and sellers in acquisition and disposition transactions in a wide range of industries. In addition, Mark frequently represents developers in the acquisition, financing and rehabilitation of affordable housing properties, and has extensive experience assisting public charities and private foundations with formation, governance and compliance matters. Mark also has assisted numerous clients with estate planning and planned giving needs. Mark is licensed in to practice law in Mississippi and North Carolina. He received his bachelor’s degree, with distinction, from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif, and his Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida, where he also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant. Mark was named a Super Lawyers Mid-South Rising Star for Business and Corporate Law.

Mark also serves on the Boards of the Jackson Metropolitan YMCA and the Mississippi Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He is a graduate of the Leadership Greater Jackson Class of 2013 and the Leadership Mississippi class of 2012. Mark and his wife Leslie live in Jackson with their two sons, Manse and Howard, and attend St. Richard Catholic Church.
