
Paula Hood
A native of Kosciusko, Mississippi, Paula Jennings Hood received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mississippi in 1978. Since that time, she has lived in Jackson and has been an active member of the community, volunteering in numerous organizations.
Paula was actively involved in the Junior League of Jackson for many years, serving as corresponding secretary, co-chairman of Mistletoe Marketplace, and in various leadership positions. She served as President of the parent/teacher associations of First Presbyterian Day School and Jackson Preparatory School while volunteering for the Mississippi Museum of Art, the Symphony League, and other organizations. She has previously served on the boards of the Northside YMCA, Ole Miss Alumni Association, and as President of Goodwill Industries Volunteer Services (GIVS). An active member of First Presbyterian Church, Paula has served on many committees of the Women in the Church organization.
Paula and her husband, Jimmy, have four grown sons and eight grandchildren. Their sons and daughters-in-law all live in Jackson and are active community volunteers as well.
