Login for Donors

Donors

If you have ever donated to a fund at the Community Foundation for Mississippi, you can create an account through our donor portal to view past donations, print tax receipts, and review/revise recurring donations. Below is information to help you get started and frequently asked questions.

Navigate to our website at formississippi.org and select Login on the top right-hand side of the homepage. Select “Donor Portal.” If your screen looks like this, you are in the right place:

If you are logging in for the first time, enter your email address and you will be sent a PIN to verify your email. Note this code is only active for 3 minutes so don’t delay entering it into the system. Once you enter your code, you will be logged into the system.

If you are logging in for the first time, you can either decide to use your email and receive a pin to log in every time to the system or set up a username and password. These options will remain on the initial login page.

(Current fundholders can select “Login with username/password” on this page to log in with their current credentials. You may be prompted to create a new password depending on how strong your password is.)

To set up a username and password, navigate to the profile icon on the top right-hand side in the portal. Click on Profile and then select “Security” on the left-hand side. You can enter your username and password here. We recommend using your primary email address as your username.

Once you have logged in, you can select the tabs on the left-hand side of the page to review the different areas available to you as a donor. As a reminder, depending on the type of fund that you manage at the Foundation, not all the following tab selections may be available to you.

For reference, here is what the tab selections may look like on your screen:

  • Donation Summary Tab
    • This tab provides an overview of total donations, total donations this year, total donations last year, and list by fund.
  • Donations Tab
    • This tab shows the detail for each donation you have given to a fund at CFM. If you see your gift type is “Stripe,” that means you gave your gift online.
    • To reprint your tax receipt: Click on the blue donation ID number in the left hand column for the donation you are interested in. On the next window in the right hand corner, click the blue “Print Tax Receipt” button.
  • Recurring Donations Tab
    • If you set recurring donations to a fund at CFM, you will see them in the Recurring Donations Tab. In this tab, you can change the interval, change the amount, or cancel a recurring donation.

Donor Frequently Asked Questions

  1. You can update your personal information in the Donor Portal. Click the profile icon in the upper right-hand corner, then proceed to edit the information. Any changes made in the donor portal will be reflected in the Foundation’s internal records. This does not change login information.
  2. If you need to update your primary email, please contact CFM staff.
  1. The new Donor Portal is compatible with most devices accessing the internet through a browser (e.g. your smartphone, tablet, and PC). However, there is no separate app for the system.
  2. The best browser to use is Google Chrome.

Tax receipts are available in the Donor Portal. Toggle to your donor profile from the main page. From the Donation Summary page, click “Donations” on the left sidebar. Click the individual ID number for your donation. Click the blue “Print Tax Receipt” button on the top right.

If you made a donation for a sponsorship or purchased an event ticket through our system, it is possible that a small portion of “value” was taken out of the ticket, per IRS regulations. You will see the donation portion of your purchase in your portal.

To make your Donor Portal experience as secure as possible, we recommend the following steps:

  • Log in with a pin every time or enable two-factor verification
    • Enable two-factor authentication: Navigate to the profile tab in the upper right hand of the Portal, then select Security. You should see a two-factor verification enable button to turn this functionality on.
