Awarded to an outstanding senior chemical engineering major at the University of Mississippi.

Anthony “Tony” Gobar Juvenile Justice Scholarship Fund
Awarded to a full-time junior or senior at a public university in Mississippi or at Southern University in Louisiana majoring in criminal justice, political science or counseling.

Charles E. “Chuck” Griffin Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to one or more deserving students at Jim Hill High School, Hinds Community College, and/or Tougaloo College.

The Blake Coghlan Memorial Ag Scholarship
Awarded to one graduating high school senior from Yazoo County or Sharkey County intending to study Agriculture or Agriculture related degree at a Mississippi 4-year or 2-year institution. The award is for a period of one academic year.

Designed for JPS high school seniors interested in pursuing a degree in a STEM discipline that could lead to a career in water and wastewater operations and management.

Bill Hunsberger Scholarship Fund
Awarded to a full-time junior or senior female college student majoring in journalism at the University of Southern Mississippi or the University of Mississippi, or a political science major with media involvement at Mississippi State University. Scholarship awarded by each individual university on a rolling basis.
2022 Award – $2,000 (Mississippi State University)

Robert E. Luckett Memorial Scholarship Fund
Awarded to two senior students at Richland High School to provide financial assistance at any two- or four-year college or university. Scholarship awarded by Richland High School.

Magnolia Bar Foundation Scholarship Fund
Awarded to a second or third-year law student at the University of Mississippi and Mississippi College. Scholarship awarded by the Magnolia Bar Foundation.

Rick Ross/Madison Avenue Upper Elementary Honorary Scholarship Fund
Awarded to qualified Madison Central High School seniors who attended Madison Avenue Upper Elementary School and will attend a two- or four-year college in Mississippi full-time. Scholarship awarded by Madison Central High School.

Leland R. Speed Scholarship for JROTC “Top Cadets” Scholarship Fund
Awarded to the overall Top Cadet of JROTC and the Top Cadet of Murrah’s JROTC programs. Scholarship awarded by JROTC.
