We all have friends who have become as close as family.
Many of us, even before making a family of our own, may remember a time when Thanksgiving meant gathering with these friends and creating a new tradition. Whether it be a stand-alone event or even after family dinner, many have coined this celebration “Friendsgiving” – a shorthand for recognizing that whether by chosen or by blood, at Friendsgiving – everyone is family.
Yet, sometimes, life has a way of getting in the way. Work, other commitments, childcare – they can make Friendsgiving hard to pull off. That is why the Community Foundation for Mississippi is inviting you to join us this year as we build a table big enough for everyone to come together. We will break bread together, share our stories, and even meet some new friends along the way. The table is set and we’ve taken care of everything – the food, the music, even childcare is provided by our friends at Family Social Club. Attendees will enjoy music by the Accumulators and will experience a unique storytelling experience connecting you through a three-course meal with Chef Damien Cavicchi of Hal and Mal’s.
Join us to celebrate the places and people we love most – let’s gather at the communal table and give thanks together for everything we have to celebrate. Now all you have to do is bring your people – family, friends, and more!

Happy hour: 5:30 – 6 p.m.

Cost: $65 for individual tickets, $120 for a couple. The ticket includes a unique three-course dinner and two drink tickets. Tickets are $10 per child (ages 1 to 11) for care with Family Social Club at the Cedars.

Where do we park?
Free parking will be across the street from The Cedars at St. Andrew’s Lower School.
Who is taking care of my child?
Family Social Club will be taking care of children ages 1-11 who are registered by their parents for the evening. The cost is $10. Please assign information to your guests after you purchase your tickets, including your children. You can indicate ages and any food allergies.
